Grazyna Jancewicz-Kulesza, was borned in Vilnus-Poland,

Graduated as an architect at Gdansk University, her professional career started in England, mostly working in London. She registered as an archiect and joined the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). She worked for 20 years in England, designed and built numerous commercial and residencial projects.

With her husband she moved to France, where they built two churches and also did stained glass windows for them, using an entirely new method of constructing stained glass, involving prefabricated concrete panels, inset in large sparkling coloured blocks of glass: the church of Roubaix, with 250 square metres of stained glass, and the "Millennium" church in Lens, with 400 square metres of stained glass.

From 1987 she lived in Spain, where she dedicated her time to painting. Between 1992 -1997 she was involved in various commissions for murals in private houses as well as institutions. Fascinated with the rich past and culture of Andalusia, especially the Phoenician, Roman and Arab influences, she created two murals of 8m x 2.5m each for the Almuñécar Cultural Centre, drawing on historical heritage.

Currently her paintings are dominated by the Andalusian landscape. The interaction of colour and light in he landscape is the magic which she tries to capture in her work.
